VSEC has just been honored in this year’s Top 250 Global Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) list published by MSSP Alert (CyberRisk Alliance), ranking #111 – up 32 places from last year. This is the third consecutive year VSEC has been included in this prestigious ranking, clearly reflecting its sustainable growth and increasingly mature operational capabilities.

The MSSP Alert Top 250 ranking is considered a global benchmark in the managed security services sector, evaluating providers based on operational maturity, real-world customer impact, and growth potential in the face of constantly evolving cyber threats.

Continuously improving rankings doesn’t come from short-term campaigns, but from a consistent development strategy centered on tangible results.

“We don’t chase short-term technology trends. VSEC invests in people, processes, and deep expertise to help customers enhance their defenses in real-world operating environments,” shared Mr. Phan Hoang Giap, Deputy General Director of VSEC.

This approach is becoming increasingly important as more organizations accelerate the migration of their IT infrastructure to the cloud, bringing with it new risks related to configuration, identity management, and the protection of distributed data.

In practice, the majority of risks in the cloud environment do not stem from sophisticated attacks, but rather from misconfigurations, inadequate access management, and a lack of centralized monitoring. According to the 2024 Cybersecurity Report – 2025 Trend Forecast published by VSEC, incidents related to cloud misconfiguration, data leaks, and supply chain attacks are significantly increasing. Meanwhile, many Vietnamese businesses have yet to develop a  comprehensive Cloud Security strategy  , making cloud operations inherently risky and difficult to control.

According to MSSP Alert statistics, in 2025, the types of attacks that MSSPs will frequently have to handle for customers will still mainly revolve around phishing emails, vulnerability exploitation, and ransomware. Notably, the rate of data breach incidents decreased slightly from 87% in 2024 to 85% in 2025. These figures reflect the types of attacks that often trigger MSSP responses and also show the increasingly prominent role of managed security services in helping businesses detect and mitigate the impact of cyberattacks early.

In this context, capabilities such as cloud security assessment, continuous monitoring, anomaly detection, and incident response in multi-cloud environments are becoming an integral part of VSEC’s security services ecosystem, alongside Managed SIEM,  Compromise Assessment  , and  DFIR . This integrated approach helps businesses shift from a reactive to a proactive defense model, mitigating risks early on.

The upgrade in the MSSP Alert ranking reflects the efforts of VSEC’s team of experienced professionals and demonstrates the growing trust from clients across various sectors, including finance and banking, manufacturing, retail, and digital businesses.

Being ranked in the Top 250 global MSSPs for three consecutive years demonstrates the cumulative effectiveness of a long-term development strategy and operational discipline. VSEC maintains a focus on expertise and partnership, concentrating on supporting businesses in strengthening cybersecurity in an increasingly dispersed IT environment.
