On April 18th, The Vietnamese Security Network Joint Stock Company (VSEC) introduced the Deep Penetration Testing Service Red Team – a security assessment based on simulating various attack behaviors aimed at infiltrating a company’s systems, much like cyber criminals.

As defined by the Computer Security Resource Center, NIST: Red Team is an authorized and organized group tasked with simulating a potential adversary’s attack or exploiting capabilities against an enterprise’s information security system. The Red Team’s objective is to enhance network information security for the enterprise by illustrating the impacts of successful attacks and demonstrating what truly works for the defensive team (Blue Team) in an operational environment.

VSEC’s team of experts has succeeded in researching and discovering Zero-day vulnerabilities (software or hardware vulnerabilities that are unknown and unresolved) in widely used software such as WordPress, Joomla, etc. and even in applications and systems of tech giants like Microsoft, Oracle, etc. all with high CVSS scores.

According to a representative from VSEC, officially announcing of providing Deep Penetration Testing Service – Red Team signifies that VSEC currently possesses the technological capabilities, a team with international standard certifications, and practical experience to engage in reputable security assessments, meeting the needs of organizations and businesses both domestically and internationally.

The official launch of VSEC’s Deep Penetration Testing Service – Red Team 2023 with the ‘Red Team full version’ will provide a new perspective on the security capabilities of Vietnamese experts, fully aligning with the highest international standards”, said Mr. Truong Duc Luong, Chairman of the Board of VSEC.
